Does the band wear any special costumes?

If it is a wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, the band will come smartly dressed in dinner suits. For more informal occasions, we can wear coloured shirts and waistcoats. We do have other costumes and are happy to discuss it with you.

Is your band very loud?

We always adjust the sound level to suit the moment. During the dinner, we play quietly so your guests can chat. When it comes to dancing, it depends on the dance. For slow, intimate dances the sound level is quieter than it would be for Hora dancing or Rock & Roll.

It seems the drummer makes lots of noise...

The drummer uses different techniques to support the rhythm line, swapping the drumsticks for brushes to play slow ballads and cool jazz. In any case, all instruments are balanced against each other to produce a nice mellow sound to match the tune.

Do you require a break?

It depends on the length of your function. Generally, the band has a break during the speeches. Alternatively, we can provide music from a CD whilst we take a short break.

What if my function runs late?

As we understand that events don't always go to plan, the band will continue playing without further charge for 5 to 10 minutes. However, we do charge extra for longer periods.
